Important Application Information for Fall 2024-25

 

 

The Manzanita Admissions Process
Involves the Following Steps

  1. Inquiry: The first step is completion of an online Admissions Inquiry as well as creation of a Ravenna-Hub account at the time you submit your inquiry (required step).

  2. Parent Information Meeting: Parents can register for a 60-minute, online presentation once you have created a Ravenna-Hub account, as well as submitted an admissions inquiry. There are separate presentations for grades Kinder-2nd, and 3rd thru High School. (required step for both parents).

  3. Open House: Manzanita School will be conducting in-person Open Houses for Forest-Kindergarten applicants whose families have attended a Parent Information Meeting (required step in lieu of campus tour for both parents & applicant).

  4. Campus Tour: Manzanita School will be conducting individual family campus tours for families who have attended one of our Parent Information Meeting (required step for entire family).

  5. Admissions Application: Submission of the completed Admissions Application. Families will complete an online admissions application, together with the required $156 application fee, by the extended application deadline of January 15, 2024. Supplementary materials, including teacher and administrator recommendation forms, are due by January 25th, 2024 (required step).

  6. Interview: Families will participate in an online Parent and Student Admissions Interview. During this one-hour virtual visit, parents and students are interviewed separately by a team of Manzanita administrators and teachers (required step).

  7. Financial Aid: Families wishing to apply for needs-based, financial aid must complete the financial aid application by February 5, 2024. Please contact our Director of Admissions, Ms. Eva Sanchez-Calixtro for more information on applying for financial aid.

  8. Admissions Offer: Once all previous steps are completed, an Admissions Decision will be sent via email by March 8, 2024. Financial Aid decisions are made at the same time as admissions offers, and are also sent via email. 

  9. Enrollment Contract/Deposit: Following an Offer of Admissions, families will have until 12:00pm on March 15, 2024 to accept the offer, sign an enrollment contract, make an initial deposit towards tuition, and submit their new student enrollment fee.
