Ani Klein is a native Spanish speaker who grew up in Mexico City. She received her B.A. from Loyola Marymount University, where she was awarded for Outstanding Student Achievement in Foreign Languages and Literature. Subsequently, she received her M.A. in Education from Pepperdine University. She has both an elementary and secondary teaching credential, and has taught for over 10 years in bilingual classrooms and Spanish Immersion programs. After homeschooling her two children, Ms. Ani began working as a Spanish teacher at several public and private schools at the Elementary, Middle School and High School levels. She has traveled extensively and learned Italian and French while living in Europe.
Annie's passion for, and love of, languages is infectious. She uses a multifaceted curriculum that she has developed herself through many years of teaching Spanish. This curriculum draws upon established materials, as well as music and interactive activities that make learning a new language a fun and exciting experience. Her one goal is to share her life long love for other languages and cultures, and open her students up to global experiences and opportunities for the rest of their lives.
